Your salt guide
- Epsom Salt – classic, fine grain; great for a quick, silky bath feel.
- Magnesium Flakes (Dead Sea–sourced) – larger, flake-like crystals with a spa vibe.
- Dead Sea Salt – mineral-rich granules, a little “weighty” in the water.
- Himalayan Pink Salt – pretty hue and gentle scrubby feel in a foot soak.
Base recipe (one bath)
- 1 cup of your chosen salt
- 1 tbsp carrier oil (Jojoba or Fractionated Coconut)
- Optional: 4–6 drops essential oil (Lavender, Sweet Orange, or Eucalyptus)
How to: Blend the essential oil into the carrier oil first, then toss through the salt and add to warm water. Swirl to dissolve. Soak ~20 minutes. External use only.
2) Castor Oil Weekender (hair, brows & nails)
Keep it minimalist—castor’s rich texture shines in slow, simple routines.
Pre-wash hair mask
- Warm a teaspoon of Castor Oil between your palms. Work through mid-lengths and ends.
- Leave 20–40 minutes, then shampoo as normal. Adjust amount for hair thickness.
Brows & nails
- Brows: With a clean spoolie, lightly sweep a drop across brows. Avoid direct contact with eyes.
- Nails: Massage a tiny drop into cuticles before bed.
Note: External use only. Patch test first. Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes.
3) Everyday Body Oil (light & fast-absorbing)
A two-oil blend that sinks in quickly and layers under your usual routine.
100 mL formula
- 60 mL Jojoba Oil
- 40 mL Fractionated Coconut Oil
- Optional aroma: 0.5–1% essential oil (10–20 drops per 100 mL)
- Combine oils in a clean bottle. Add essential oil if using, cap, and roll to blend.
- Apply to slightly damp skin after a shower for a soft, non-greasy finish.
Swap: Prefer a richer feel? Use Virgin Coconut Oil in cooler months (it melts on skin).
4) Two-Ingredient Salt Hand/Foot Polish
Quick polish for hands or heels—no fuss, just glow.
Mix in a small bowl
- 2 tbsp fine Epsom or finely crushed Himalayan Salt
- 1 tbsp Virgin Coconut Oil or Jojoba Oil
- Optional: 1–2 drops Sweet Orange or Lavender essential oil
- Blend to a paste. Massage gently for 30–60 seconds.
- Rinse and pat dry. Follow with a few drops of your body oil.
Caution: Oil can make surfaces slippery. Rinse showers/tubs promptly.

Layer gentle candlelight with a matching diffuser blend for a cosy evening.
- Calm & cosy: Soy candle with vanilla/amber notes + Lavender (2) & Sweet Orange (1) in a diffuser.
- Fresh & clear: Clean, airy candle + Eucalyptus (2) & Lemon Myrtle (1).
- Uplifting: Citrus-leaning candle + Mandarin (2) & Ylang Ylang (1) for a soft floral lift.
